Press release: "The bold design and resonant tone that radiate from The Phantoms are no figments of the imagination. These are the only mufflers available with exhaust ports that are hidden on the bottom side of the mufflers. The Phantoms’ showcase power, performance, and self-assertion. Simultaneously, they exude grace, perfection, and elegance. VonBraunUSA. This certainly satisfies need for physical sustenance and, although a limited opportunity for interrelationships, is ultimately not enough to satisfy the need for human flourishing. Why? Because relationships are about love and love is about growth and growth is about not being satisfied with the minimum. Love is about more, not less. In other words, love is generous. It is true that the Church is a family, the family of God, and the Sacrifice of the Mass is a "meal", though a sacrificial one, and the Mass is the one essential thing: Christ present in Word proclaimed and really, truly and substantially in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. This is enough to make even the most R. E. M. F. Labels: crime, day at the office, dumb criminals, jeering, public service message. I'm so happy tht it is Saturday. I have been waiting for this weekend for quite a while now, why do you ask? Well. I'm heading to see Luke Bryan tonight. Can. Not. Wait! In the meantime I wanted to leave you all with a little card I did for Kraftin' Kimmie. Kraftin' Kimmie was having a Challenge to be a Guest DT. I had fun creating things with mixed media - it's messy, there's no rhyme or reason, but MMA is always fun to play with. I used all sorts of mediums on this, Tim Holtz color wash, Tatter Angels Glimmer Mist, Tatter Angles Glam, and Tim Holtz Distress inks to name a few. I tore the stamps out and distressed the edges with Distress Inks I added some texture using some paste past and punchanella. The glittered areas was done using Tattered Angels GLAM. The three stamps that I used from Stamp It are: Destination, Journey and Eiffel Sketch. They are ALL available in the store. right now!! Thanks For Looking! Pin It. Thanks to JD for the information that Dr Dan Poulter of my last post was once a gynaecologist, before he became a politician. He was anaesthetising a lady for a gynaecology colleague of whom he was not particularly fond. The gynaecologist had just inserted a Cusco into the oblivious lady. “Look at that” said my colleague. “ A bent piece of steel with a cunt at each end!”. Photo Slideshow by Max. Such an encouragement! Why could it not be that God allowed evil because it will bring us all to a far greater glory and joy than we would have had otherwise? Isn't it possible that the eventual glory and joy we will know will be infinitely greater than it would have been had there been no evil? What if that future world will somehow be greater for having once been broken and lost? If such is the case, that would truly mean the utter defeat of evil. Evil would not just be an obstacle to our beauty and bliss, but it will have only made it better. And apart from sin and evil we would never have seen the courage of God, or the astonishing extent of his love, or the glolry of a deity who lays aside his glory and goes to the cross. For us here in this life, the thought of God's glory is rather remote and abstract. That is what we are in for, nothing less. Beauty in barrenness - When the longing for a baby isn't met. Thanksgiving is supposed to be our default mode of conversation. Start with the tongue. Continue with the wallet. Then move onto the gospel where we will find the only true power to not change our words or our spending habits, but the heart that is behind them both. I'm sure there is much more to be said! I'll keep thinking. But for me, this Sunday School lesson was a day of rest. A group of students from my husband's uni group were running their annual mission at our church, and one of their responsibilities was to lead Sunday School. Then it was on to the lesson, and Shell came up with a brilliant variation on the charts we've been making each week. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. I love to make banners because it gives me a chance to use my cricut! Here are some of the banners hanging in our school. This banner was created using the School Counselor Blog!. I’m sure you can think of traditions that may be based in Biblical principles or things that are really helpful in today’s world that churches do but aren’t what was a part of New Testament church practice. Sometimes even to question these things is considered not to be spiritual. When a Pastor prefers traditions over Bible reading, letting God speak to you daily and cleanse your heart, then he is condemning his congregation to powerlessness and there will be no Holy Spirit revival there.
It has often been a sort of joke in Baptist churches that something is done not for a Biblical reason but simply because that’s the way it’s always been done.No question can be made as to why it has to be that way. I'm finding it interesting to see the efforts of major directors before they became major, and it's fun to see elements that appear in later films. There's a spiral staircase in the opening scene, for example, and the Hitchcock blond is featured. via Youtube:The Guardian has an article on the history and restoration of the film. SilentFilm. " DVD Beaver has some stills. The history of the making of the movie is fascinating to me and worth seeing for that alone, but the film didn't do much for me as entertainment. It seemed overwrought to me. Embedding at youtube is disabled, but you can watch it at this youtube link. Slant Magazine says,The effect is nothing less than haunting. Sci-Fi-O-Rama has some still shots. They are both true enough to the book to suit me. To be honest, I'd be hard-pressed to choose between them, and I wonder why they remade the original. Swedish original trailer: American remake trailer: Both films were well-received. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Two of them are “love” and “grow. ” Two other phrases are “the whole body” and “each part. ”This is how the body works after it has been prepared by the pastors for works of service. There is only one Lord Jesus Christ and there is only one body of the Lord Jesus Christ, the church. The church is not the sum total of the local assemblies and national denominations. There may be a relationship but that is about all there is. The early church was made up of saved Jews and saved Gentiles. They were saved the same way. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession—to the praise of his glory. “God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. The week started out much the same as previous weeks – easy, careful running. ” Huge thanks to Robert Gillanders of Sport and Spinal PT, who spent a ridiculous amount of time and effort trying to get to the bottom of this. What did he find? Well… The physical exam showed that my left leg is weaker than the right. Now, that’s been the case for years, despite all sorts of strengthening work. I was excited to do this race for a few reasons. This race would feature a lot of women faster than myself, which would hopefully drag me to better times. So showed up, warmed up, and ran. The blacked out ROD number on the tender is a giveaway as to its previous life and the GWR may have added a few of its own fittings, but they certainly haven't pampered it or treated it to a coat of GWR green. I've been impressed by the Harder & Steenbeck airbrush that I employed for the painting and weathering. I finished off the weathering with the loco on running at slow speed on a rolling road, allowing the paint to reach all of the chassis, wheels and motion without leaving any 'stencilling' effects. This idea was suggested to me by Tony at Wealistic Models and it's quite effective - just be sure to clean up the rolling road afterwards. Joining the library of 'Expert' titles, it features a wide range of techniques for steam and modern era freight and passenger stock and looks at the use of weathering powders, pigments and dyes, as well as enamel and acrylic paints. Adding realistic graffiti, peeling paint, burnished paintwork and recreating specific types of 'dirt' are demonstrated, using simple techniques and equipment. Subjects include: Surface preparation Authentic dusty finish for aggregate and mineral wagons Using powders with fixative solutions to create unique effects Timber-bodied wagons and recreating the look of bare wood Pre- and post-shading Peeling and chipped paint, rust patches Adding texture to roofs and underframes Greasy deposits and staining Graffiti Recreating the typical steam-age look for carriages See the next issue of Model Rail magazine for more details or see Telerail's website. You cannot Fillet, Trim, Extend, Chamfer or Hatch in a file, LT reports that the lines you select are "non coplanar". Make sure your UCS is set to World. m. Some of the issues we had with the gates reminded us of just how skilful a task is that of constructing and hanging them. A number of the top gates would not stay closed, so it was a bit ironic to see notices stuck to them asking all boaters to ensure the gates were shut as you left, to avoid water wastage. A well hung and balanced gate opens and closes easily, and doesn't need superman to shift it. It's very noticeable when whoever set it in place didn't get it quite right.
The mechanics are very different from most of the pieces we saw in the MAD museum yesterday, but the same attention is needed to getting everything perfectly balanced. The Stratford is a delightful canal in many other ways.
It has a number of these bridges, which appear to have been constructed in two halves..
